Export as flat PDF?

Thanks for the reply. This particular file was created in Designer (DES file). The document itself has some artwork that our company will be selling, so what I did was put semi transparent words over the artwork to make it harder to rip off. But the issue is our customers have the Corel X6 suite, so they could download my PDF and remove the font and use all my objects. So basically getting everything for free. In designer there is no flatten function, just group or ungroup.

Ultimately what I ended up doing was exporting each sheet as a JPG and then created a new DES and imported the sheets back into the pages. So everything was flattened, and I exported at a lower dpi so the quality was reduced on top of it. That worked, it was just a long work around having to export each sheet. And while I get the password permission option, I'd have to give them the password to open the file, and then they could import it into Corel just the same and take the artwork. I'm just surprised the PDF publish option doesn't have a flatten option. In X4 if you chose the "For Web" setting it would flatten it but X6 has obviously changed that .

They can only open the pdf in acrobat for viewing if it's password protected. I believe neither corel draw, illustrator or even photoshop can open/import/place it. See what you can steal with the attached pdf. saved with web setting and password protected.

Uh..looks like I was wrong again. I can still import even though it asks for a password.

I have a macro that covert each page to bitmap and then publish file to PDF on same directory as .cdr file is located. I can modify this macro to your needs - please PM  requested bitmap resolution and required settings for publish to PDF.
