Hello,
I've been working in CorelDRAW X6 since July 2015 without issue, then all of a sudden, it just started crashing consistently, regardless of the complexity of the files I'm working on.
It crashes when I try to save, copy to the clipboard or export, even with the simplest of files. When it does succeed in copying to the clipboard, it takes forever, as I watch the progress wheel spin, even if it's just a vector rectangle.
I'm wondering if it's related to some of the recent Windows updates I've installed, because it never used to crash like this until after I installed those, however, I cannot confirm that's the true source of the problem.
Any help or insight would be appreciated!
FYI, I have all the following up-to-date:
• All available updates for CorelDRAW X6 installed to version 16.4.1.1281, and even did a clean un-install/re-install of CorelDRAW X6 and all the current updates.
• All the current Windows updates
• The most current driver for my video card.
I've also, cleaned out all my temp files.
Computer specs:
Dell Precision T1600
Windows 7 Professional Service Pack 1 (64 bit)
Intel Xeon(R) CPU 3.10 GHz
8 GB Ram
Nvidia Quadro 600 video card
Hi George, Thanks for the response. In my C/Windows/Fonts folder, I have 397 fonts.
However and regardless, I had the same amount of fonts all along and it only recently started crashing. I suspect a conflict with the recent windows updates.
