Photo Paint X6 Issues after making changes to image

For the last couple months, I've been having issues after making changes to an image in Photo Paint.

I'll change an image, by cropping or rotating an image that is upside down, etc., then save the image to my drive. But when I access the file using another program (Even just Windows Explorer) or try to post them online, the images don't show the changes I made to them. However, when I access them using Photo-Paint X6, they reflect the changes.

Does anyone know anything about why this was happening, and what I can do to correct this?

Just a guess but is it possible that when you save the file from PhotoPaint, you actually save as a CPT image (PP's native format), and then when you open the image with any other program, you open the original bitmap file instead, JPG or whatever?

No, I'm afraid not. CPT isn't compatible with the websites I post to, so I make sure I save to JPG after I make changes.

Close photopaint. Does the other program now show the change correctly?

If it does not, re-open photopaint. Does photopaint still show the change?

The only suggestion I can make is to upload the two versions of the file (before and after editing it) and see if we can spot anything.

In case you're not aware, you need to go to reply then "use rich formatting" and find the insert media icon to upload a file. There is also a limit of 512Kb (and I'm not sure if that is per file or per message).
