Corel PHOTO-PAINT X6 Photo-Paint or Paintshop Pro?

Photo-Paint or Paintshop Pro?

I'm scanning in a huge collection of color slides and photos so I can have them all digitized. I'm using Photo-Paint from X6 to adjust colors, straighten images, remove dust, etc. Are the tools in Paintshop Pro any better than the tools in Photo-Paint, or are they the same?

Better is subjective! The 30 day trial is best to try out first then make your decision. And yes, some tools I find are better in Paintshop Pro, ie.. the Mesh Warp tool.

Different tools in PSP but for what you're doing Photo-PAINT is what I'd use

Thanks everyone for the comments. I downloaded the trial of PSP and gave it a try. Found the menus and tools totally alien from Corel Graphic Suite and gave up after only 20 minutes of screwing around with it. I'm sticking with Photo-Paint.
