Hi,
I have my own website (www.healingenergymusic.com) that was created by a web designer (i4design), not with Corel, but with Adobe and I want to be able to add and update my web content through Corel Website Creator X6 myself.
Can I do this? And how do I transfer my site into Website Creator??
I'm not very savvy on this so if anyone could give me a step by step run down of the process I would be very grateful.
Ace
Hi Ace,
You would have to totally rebuild it in Corel Website Creator. Then you would be stuck having to use it forever as this program uses it's own propitiatory codes. I use Draw for most of my design work, the program rocks. Personally I do not like Core Website Creator at all. My business is web development and Internet marketing. Your site is a very basic html static site and very easy to edit and manage.
Adobe also has a product called Contribute http://www.adobe.com/products/contribute.html which allows you to edit and change most anything on a website without code knowledge. If you use a word processor you will like this program and the learning curve is about 30 minutes and has a 30 day free trial. I recommend it and have many small busine clients that use this method for years. We build them a basic inexpensive site w/design and they update and expand the site in house thus saving lots of dollars. Here is an example of a site expanded and updated weekly by one of my clients and they have very limited tech knowledge. http://ellesalonltd.com/
