I just bought Website Creator X6. I don't do much website design so I wanted something fairly simple. Since I've used Corel products all the way back to 1983, I thought this would be a reasonable product for me to try. However, there's not a bit of documentation that I can find.....nothing.
Am I missing something or do I just ask for a refund? The help file seems, I guess, quite comprehensive but I can't use help files because of the distance to the screen and my eyesight. If it's not in a book or PDF file, I can't even get started.
Thanks.
Well, here's one resource I know of. http://www.gotfusion.com/index.cfm , despite looking like it's for another program. Website Creator is a customized version of that program.
It's reasonable to want to try the product, but I don't think it's necessarily simple. There will be a learning curve, but instead of learning HTML/CSS and how websites function you'll be learning how to use website creator. I don't want to bash the program, but many (myself included) would suggest that time is better spent just learning the HTML/CSS. Or possibly using a simpler WYSIWYG Editor. Website Creator isn't exactly an editor in the typical sense.
Hope it helps
Website Creator is not a good programme and as Andrew says it's probably better to learn a bit of HTML/CSS. There is however a pretty good WYSWIG programme that you can download for free that writes pretty good HTML/CSS (which WC does not): MS Expressions Web
MS Expressions Web, while maybe a good program, is being dropped by Microsoft.
i used Microsoft FrontPage for a while, it was easy to use, but its Microsoft, and i'm getting tired of Microsoft changing their products so drastically that everything you have learned about the product becomes of no value eventually.
i bought Corel WebSite creator because the 'trial' download wouldn't run... that should have been a warning to me.
now i have the same problem as the original poster.. wheres the documentation? i can't find the right menu/buttons to push to do a simple thing like resize the Banner.
so, if its actually a rebranded Net Objects Fusion.. why not just buy Net Objects Fusion.. or are they dropping the product also?
Did you mean 1993 ?

Actually I guess I meant 1985. I was a WordPerfect user long before there was a Corel or at least before they bought WordPerfect. I started with WP 4.0 whenever that was.
