I have owned corel x6 for a couple of months and never needed any support. Then I tried to run website creator and it dumped a process onto my system, that runs forever, but nothing on my screen. Anyway, I have already posted that one someplace but I note that somebody else had the same problem with no reply so I am not having a lot of hope.
I also subscribed to another set of corel forums that had a really long query about this system, but, I suspect, that is done as there was no place to post any new topics so this is the only one?
As far as I can tell there is really no way to even email support and expect any kind of response, after 30 days so this forum is it, and responses are not, obviously, quick to come. I have been buying corel, on and off for a VERY long time but, given the perceived complete lack of any support I am having second thoughts about any more upgrades.
This is actually, when I think on it, a whining rather than anything else. Seems to me that Corel is not real interested in customers. I am, obviously, not a real happy camper.
Hello chelo; I was looking forward to trying the website creator when I got X6 and didn't have quite the same problems you are having, but was told it wasn't a very good program. I think a LOT of CorelDRAW and have used it to make a living since 1990. You might want to look at Web Easy to put your site together, I do all the graphics in Draw and export them and it's easy once you learn the way things are done. All of the programs are cutting back on support to cut down the cost I guess. You might try turning off the fire wall when you down load and install it.

What version of windows are you using?
According to the specs, website creator is only for XP, vista and windows 7. If you are using windows 8, you might be able to make it work in a compatibility mode.
But I don't think there are many website creator users here, so it may be difficult to find somebody that has made it work and is able to explain it.

Not to take the light off of you website creator issue, however, I was reading this thread on Adobe site.

Really hate to be in his shoes, although Corel’s support isn’t perfect, I haven’t seen them fail like Adobe.
