Not sure if this a official Corel forum thing or if it's just a fan site and we are griping/spitting into the wind at times.
Anyhow...
The way features are requested isn't that effective in a forum/post type setup. If you look at PlayStation 4 they have feature requests/wish lists site where people in the community requests features and it gets up voted or down voted.
1. This clearly would show what features/functions are wanted by the community, so Corel would easily see what's important, and possibly work on it.
2. It would show other users what's requested so they can refrain from creating another post requesting the same feature.
3. Make it a available only for registered Corel owners.
Hello t4s; the people that are in control of what gets add, work on or changed do come here and read what everyone has to say. If you are talking about redesigning this forum you could send a letter to the Administrator.

This is an official Corel site, btw.
I agree wholeheartedly with this suggestion.

This is The Official CorelDRAW Forum, the best place for your messages

Requested features and bug reported are managed by the Beta Tester team not at the public forum. btw, almost all the CorelTeam read this forum dialy and follow all request. Anyway, I agree that is good to create a better way to organize all request and also allows to vote for each
Below is a link on what/how Sony is doing it, Obviously Sony doesn't do every request, but they do a lot. Great way for Sony to engage and delight their customer base. Might be one of the reasons why they are winning the current console wars in terms of units sold.

In the past I started several post with "wishlist" of new features. Of course, not all suggestions were addded, but it's good to see that several request are included on this version or the next upgrade:

and more than this, I'm glad to see a lot of new and powerful ideas and suggestions. This shows both the power of the program and the importance that CorelDRAW has for it users, and as well the different applications that users gives to the program.
