Request Feature: Warp

An onscreen mesh-warp tool on bitmaps in photopaint AND coreldraw, with full control on the number of nodes and edges (not restricted to a box). Or at least an envelope tool that supports bitmaps.

I would like to request for more sophisticated warping tools, but let's start with something less advanced.

Great suggestion and we are waiting about more years. Maybe Corel Devs develope the "Envelope" effect for bitmaps.

--- I SECOND THE MOTION for the mesh tool. Corel's PaintShopPro has one.
Actually, PhotoPaint already has a bewildering number of paint warp tools. Open the fly-out menu for the paint tool and choose Effects. Look on the left side of the property bar. The left-most dialog lets you choose Smudge, Smear, Spray Can, and 12 other options. The dialog just to the right of it gives you about thirty choices within each category.
Then open the Brush docker for about fifty choices. The total number of combinations numbers in the millions.

The mesh tool with all the control grips the mesh fill tool has. (rotating and stretching the nodes of the mesh)
In paintshoppro you aren't able to rotate a node
