Missing profiles and lost EXIF data - for the last time

Hi Everybody,

I'm trying to reach Sharon Potts on these issues.

Wild guesses, speeches on the wonders of intergalactic color management, or personal opinions on EXIF data are of absolutely no use to anyone.

1. Photopaint discards the EXIF data upon SAVE.  Who cares if someone here doesn't want it. Most serious photographers consider it to be sacred scriptures.

2. Photopaint doesn't read the profile embedded in a photo.  It incorrectly embeds the default profile.  It turns all the ICC color management into garbage.  It's worse than all those terrible non-ICC compliant applications.  Photopaint gives false information.

Just for the record, I tried it again with a photo from my Panasonic FZ50 camera.  The correct color space  for the photo is Adobe RGB (1998).  Photopaint screwed it up.  Photoshop got it right.  Let me add that File > Documents also gives false information.  Here's a copy of all the screen captures.

HELLO HELLO,   Is anybody home at Corel.
