I recently upgraded to Graphics Suite X7
I still have the downloads from Graphics Suites X4 and X6 on my hard drive.
Can they be totally deleted now, or does X7 share files with those old versions?
Thanks

If you are no longer going to use either one, ever, then yes, you can delete them.
If it were me, I would archive them off to a recordable DVD, that way, should I ever have an occasion to use them, I would have them handy.
(I still have the CDs and DVDs of all the issues the the CGS, back to Ver. 11, in my cabinet.)
Hello Vincent; To go along with what Hugh has said, I Still have X4 loaded on this computer with X6 & X7. If you open a older file in X7 it may change the color layout of the file. I do Like X7 the 64 bit is Very fast, but X4 may help in opening older files that you don't want to rebuild.

Yes i believe too that we must have an older version installed, just in case. Especially if there are font encoding issues in the old files
If I were you I would keep at least x6 running until maybe x7.2 there are a lot of potential compatibility issues fountain fills, pantone palettes color conversion from x4 to x7 if you are not always using cmyk percentages
Just be very careful to make sure a broad range of your old files open correctly.
Wait for at least x7.1 due in June

Well, we are well past 2014 and all of the X7 upgrades and well into X8. Can someone tell me if I should still keep X6 on my computer if I know that my chances of needing to use it again are slim and none? Thanks.
