Hi everyone!Has anyone come up with this issue? CorelDRAW X7.3 uninstalls fonts in windows!!!I keep on reinstalling them and as soon as I try to open a file with certain 'troublesome' fonts,CorelDRAW simply uninstalls them and keeps asking to substitute with other fonts!!!It happens with Opentype fonts.Thanks!

After I first installed SP3 and I opened a file which had used Helvetica from an OTF font, the text was garbled. The only cure was to uninstall X7 and reinstall and not to use SP3.
Over the weekend I once again installed SP3 and without opening any files, I started a new design. I typed the text in my default font Arial and then changed the font for the text to Helvetica using an OTF font. That immediately changed the text to be garbled. When I export the text to an image the text shows correctly in the image but is in Arial font style and not the Helvetica font style
For this I did not use panose to substitute the fonts
the design was created on the same system as the fonts,
are the fonts embedded in the files in the case of the file that I first opened when I first installed SP3 - Yes
In the second case, I had not opened a file, and had started a new design
On my system I only have Helvetica OTF Bold and Bold Oblique installed. After installing SP3 in the list of font options in Corel Draw, I see two extra font options for Helvetica which were not there before installing SP3. These are Helvetica Regular and Regular Oblique shown as TTF fonts.
I am using Windows 8.1 and all updates are installed
X7 17.3.0.772
In the image below, the text you see on the left is the text shown as how the image will be when you export the text to an image. The text on the right is the design text in Helvetica being exported that is seen garbled but appears correctly but as Arial font in the image
In the image below you can see the font options in the drop down list - the top two appear after installing SP3 but were not there before SP3 was installed.
The text is red ABCDEFG is the same set of characters in Arial as the CDEFGHI below that in black which is in Helvetica
This was a new design started after installing SP3 and before any other existing files were opened in SP3
If you require more information or files please advise
I have uninstalled X7 and SP3 and reinstalled X7 without SP3 as that is the only way I can use my existing files.
My existing files do have the font saved as an embedded font
