Is it possible to edit bitmap with MSPaint and not PhotoPaint in X7?

In X6, I could edit bitmaps using Windows paint. However, in X7, I have to install Photopaint in order to make the edit bitmap option available. Is there a way to edit the bitmap using just mspaint in X7 without needing to install photopaint?

Learn PhotoPaint. It is a very capable program, which is working well in layers, selections and color channels. To work in the mspaint has no level. It is a loss.

IMO using MS Paint is like wanting to use crayons with a state of the art graphics program.

It's possible, usng a macro such as http://macromonster.com/product/dizzy-rastercontrol-2/
btw... Windows Paint???? it's a very limited software. Try to use PhotoPaint, you have a lot more features and options for editing

Both programs MSPaint and PhotoPaint can be used for editing bitmaps. One if FAR FAR better as already stated but do feel free to use Paint.
Might you tell us what your trying to accomplish? Some photo editing can be done with CorelDraw alone! I almost never use PhotoPaint.

Of course being well versed in Photoshop has made using photopaint hard for myself.

To Tom:
I went from Photoshop to PhotoPaint the last year completely. My reason was that I can’t read Photoshop offers well, because of too small text. Now I am satisfied with PP, it has a good logic, it is simplier, cheaper and works well in layers, selections, masking and channels, also has lot of tools, so I am using Photoshop techniques in this program too. I only had to learn different names of some tools and techniques. Finally, I must say that Photoshop is more developed program, for example In PP is bad using the path for cutting out pictures, so I do it in a vector Corel. I see Adobe programs fit more for large firms with lot of work but Corel’s ones for smaller firms and individuals.
