I recently reloaded my computer, from the operating system (Win10), on up. I have CorelDraw Graphics Suite, and VersaWorks 5.5.1, which I use to feed my Roland VersaCamm SP300V.
Now that I have my system all set up again, I find that I can export any of my previously created files, as an eps file, and it will cut just fine. But... I can not create anything new, adding in a CutContour line, and expect VersaWorks to recognize it as a cut line. It only wants to print Magenta instead of cutting...
When I set up Corel this time, I had to create the CutContour "color" again. I did it as I believe I've done it before, but I'm not sure if maybe I've done something wrong there... I have tried multiple times, with no success.
I have read another thread on here that talked about a similar issue. Looked into things they spoke of there, but none of that seemed to be the case here. Also, I am using .eps files, not .pdf...
Any thoughts?
Thanks!
Dave
It is very important that the color is a spot color and that it is named correctly, CutContour.
Also make sure that the spot color is preserved on export, "Output colors as: Native", and do not check "Convert spot colors to:".
