Fit body of text inside object 9shape) that I have created.

I'm trying to have a body of text conform to a shape that I have created. I can do it easily with a standard shape eg. circle or square using the envelope tool. Piece of cake, but when I try with MYshape I get "You did not click on an object. Do you wish to try again?"

Using CorelDraw X7

Please help

grab your text tool and click just to the inside of your shape and you'll see a blank paragraph shape form to that shape then copy and paste your text.

Thanks for the reply. I have done what you said, I can do that with a standard shape but it doesn't work with the shape I made. Does the shape need to be of a certain form/type/format?
