CorelDRAW X7 Image clarity after enlarging

Image clarity after enlarging

I went to iconfinder.com and downloaded an image, PNG 48x48 (2.13KB) and Imported to my work page. It was way too small, so I went to Bitmaps>Resample and enlarged it slightly, but now it's fuzzy on the edges. Is there a way to maintain image clarity while enlarging it? Thanks!!

You might try exporting for PhotoZoom Pro from Photo-PAINT but if the image is rough to start with you may be out ofluck.

Too small to enlarge, even with PhotoZoom.

Why not redraw it so it is vector?

Didn't icon finder have an SVG version of the image? They often do. If they have you can scale it to whatever size you want.

Thanks for replies! I found another image - - it's plenty large, a JPEG, and when I try to move it into position (using Pic tool) a gray box is around it and the edge of the box blocks out the edge of the object next to it. Is there a way to get rid of the offending box?
