How do you use the watercolor effect in Photopaint x8? I remember it from x6 and 7 but with the new one, no matter how I adjust the sliders, all I get in preview is a black box. I have 16gBytes of Ram installed and everything else works fine.

Effects art water color, assuming it's working properly. Do you have the student version?

No, I have the full version. Is there a link to a tutorial on this effect? Has it changed since the last software? I'm finding that the sliders are not functioning, but maybe that's an issue with Windows 10, which I'm running on this machine?

No I'm only using Windows 10 -64 bit.

Make sure you have all Windows and CorelDRAW updates and if you do try holding the F8 key when you start Photo-PAINT and resetting Photo-PAINT to defaults.

I'm also using Win10-64bit. I tried the reset option at startup, but now the preview screen looks like a 1950s TV screen problem: mostly black with some horizontal waves and lines, all in B/W. The image is 27Mbytes, and is RGB all warm tones with a bottom heavy tone curve. RThe other effects under ArtStrokes are working. Any ideas?

Have you tried other images or is it just this particular one? Can you upload it here or some other site and provide a link?
