Does anyone know why this would be? I have quick launch links set up on my taskbar to a number of regularly used files (including an Excel spreadsheet and an Access database). These work perfectly well except when CorelDraw X8 is running. Whenever it is running, we click the buttons and have to wait between 15-20 seconds for the files to open. If we click the buttons and then close Corel, the files open straight away. Likewise, if I open Excel from the Start menu then open the file from there, it is fine. It only happens when using quick launch shortcuts or if I've added a folder to my taskbar as a shortcut.
I'm running up to date Windows 10 and Corel X8. We want to update everyone here to X8 as soon as possible, but every user has CorelDraw running most of the day, and delays opening regular files mean we can't do so yet.
