Corel Draw X8 crashes when I attempt to export a .CDR drawing to a .png, .eps, .wmf, .jpg format file

I purchased CorelDRAW Home & Student Suite X8 a few months ago. Since installing on a Windows 10 laptop (HP OMEN), I cannot export any of my drawings to the following formats: .jpg, .eps,.png, .wmf. These are just the file formats that I have tried - I have not tried all of the different graphic formats, yet. Although I primarily need to be able to export to .png and .jpg, CorelDRAW X8 should be able to export a .cdr file to ANY drawing format. I have troubleshot the drawings that I am trying to export, to include removing any fancy fonts. I replaced all of the fonts with a standard Windows Arial font, just to make sure that the font wasn't the culprit.

I have seen numerous other issues that CorelDRAW X8 users have reported that are crashing this application. Has anyone addressed the exporting crash? BTW, I tried the most recent hotfix and it had no affect on my issue. Please help if you can.

I used to export immediately after saving or "saving as" and my corel used to crash. Now I wait until the "background processes" as completed - see save icon at the bottom right of screen. And this has significantly reduced my crash on export rate. Now it only happens occasionally. It especially crashes when you are "saving as" with a new file name.

Safia, my edition of CorelDRAW allows me to save my files just fine, it's when I try to export the file to another format when CorelDRAW crashes.

Yes, mine SAVES fine too.

It crashes when I EXPORT immediately after hitting save - without waiting for Save background process to complete.

It saves just fine. But Corel crashes because saving and exporting at the same time was a bit too much for it's little brain (or rather, it's little RAM). My first computer literacy lessons taught me that I can do stuff faster than my computer can display on the screen but that the computer will process it anyway - but my corel can't save and export at the same time. But I kind of understand why it happens during changing filenames - as it saves the exported file under the file name.

But yeah, maybe your problem is different... More information is needed so maybe analyze your system and observe other processes that might be happening.

I cannot help, but i'm searching why too.
Mine crashes at export since last week, only when "show preview" checkbox is active, if not export works good but i cannot tick the options like using transparency...
I worked on it since a year, not installed any new software recently (i'm on win7), tryed to repair .Net, Corel, clean temp files, check video drivers, on another session, etc... I cannot reinstall as i don't backup install files (online version) :/

Hello blarchelle; Do a LITTLE PM work on your computer...... Get rid of your TEMP files, delete program that you don't use. those two things will; help you.....
