Here's a bug since the beginning of Corel X8. It's a strange bug, comes a goes for no apparent reason. It's happening a lot this week.
When I try to save a file I'm working on, sometimes Corel says the file "was modified by another use since you opened the file" and does not allow me to save the file. Corel demands that I change the file name before allowing me to save it. I can't simply update the file.
Obviously this is both annoying and inconvenient, along with the myriad other Corel X8 bugs that still haunt us. When will this be addressed? Never? Has it been fixed in the latest version of Corel?
Here's the screen shot of the errant Corel notice (attached).
You may want to do a search on the forum, if memory serves there was some issue with drop box enabled processes.
I have 4 terabytes on the server so a cloud based process is unrealistic. I have an FTP site for file transfers as do all my vendors.
