Hi,
I have been offered a full version of graphics suite X3 at a nice price. But ... will it work in the new to come version of Windows (7)? I read there were some problems in getting it to work in Vista. Has anyone an idea? Or if not: how can I find out?
Thanx for your help

For work with CorelDRAW x3 on Windows Vista, you need to insytall the ServicePack 2. If works on Vista, surely it will work better on Windows 7, and also you have an "XP mode" on Win7. btw, the best solution is to upgrade to CorelDRAW X4 (or X5)
Thank you for your reply.
I now have CorelDraw 8 on a Win XP-system, very oldfashioned but still working fine, though I need more now. I want to skip Vista and upgrade right to Windows 7 next year. So I understand that CorelDraw X4 will work fine on Windows 7 and X3 can still work in "XP mode".

Is CorelDraw X5 soon to come?
At the moment I guess I have to think/choose between X3 and X4. Is the difference worthwhile? In what ways is X4 better than X3?

CorelDRAW don't need XP mode, if you install the ServicePack 2.

There's no official news about this, and the people who know something about this, can't say anything.

If you have plans to upgrade, X3 is not the best idea, is some years old; if you will upgrade today, the best one is X4. If you will upgrade in the future, perhaps you can choose X5 if it's possible, but don't wait for X5.
Thanx a lot, Ariel! It's perfectly clear to me. X4 it will be and if the future has X5 available, then it will be X5. No more questions or hesitations. Thanx again!
