Hello All,
Just got my new quad core 64 bit computer running on W7. I used PCMover to migrate my programs to the new computer. X3 did not work. I uninstalled it and installed it again from scratch. Still does not work. Gets all kinds of errors when I try to run it. Is this software and W7 compatible or do I need to shell out more $$ for newer Corel Draw?

As Aleem said, the Service Pack 2 of CorelDRAW X3 allows you to use it under Windows Vista and Seven. But I don't know how PCmover works, and I don't know what was your previous operating system. ie, if you change from XP 32-bits to Seven 64-bits I'm not usre about the resuts. The best way is to complete unistall and reinstall CorelDRAW X3 under Windows Vista, then install both ServicePack. If you have a customized interface, you can export it to other folder and import again later. Windows Seven check more the programs to prevent to use illegal copies, and altought you have an original if you are trying to "moving" manually instead "standard" install perhaps the operating system believe that is something wrong.
I want to thank everyone who offered suggestions. They were all good and I tried them more than once. At this point, I have removed the software from my W7 program and reinstalled it twice. I tried downloading the service packs. This was a little confusing, because the description for SP2 said it required SP1 to first be installed. I could not find SP1, but I did download SP2 and try to install it. There was some error saying it could not continue because (I forgot the rest). I was pretty frustrated because I had just made the decision to purchase Photoshop CS4 for the same reason. I'm just going to just bite the bullet and get the lastest full up version of Corel Draw. I operate a website called GunGrips.net where we put custom laser etched images on gun grips for people. These are the two most important pieces of software we use. I guess it's worth the investment. Probably about time as well, I've been using these for about 7 or 8 years now. Anyway thanks to everyone.
Are you sure that installed the ServicePack for X3? Seems that you have downloaded the Service Pack for X4 (the SP 2 includes the SP 1). Here's the correct link for all updates for X3:
