Hi all, I have recently had to move Corel X3 onto a new PC (as my old PC had stopped working).
I have installed and entered my corel account name and password - and it says Installation complete - yet when I try to launch the program it comes up with...
"No asset found for trial download (license ID: 540234461) with 15 days left cource type 1 lang en and source ID 800004." - it then just says "close" and immediately exits.
I have the full paid for version of the software .....anyone know how I can fix this ?
I have tried Corel support but as it is no longer supported they wont help me (disgraceful)
thanks !
Simon
Please ignore me - I have found the solution - my orignal install file was 255mb - I just found a different one online which was 245mb and installing from that one has cured the problem!
I have exactly the same issue which just started recently on my exisitng PC - I haven't changed anything, no updates or installations - what did you do reinstall from a new source file? I have found another post with the same issue - I hope not a Corel time to buy an upgrade "bug" written into X3. Support no longer available and the program stops working....
Hi I used this installer and it worked for me http://www.corel.com/akdlm/6763/downloads/trials/GraphicsSuiteX3/EN/CorelDRAWGraphicsSuiteX3.exe - it is a bit smaller than the original install file and I've had trouble free X3ing for a few months now.
let me know how you get on

Oh, please. Corel did not put a 'bug' in to make you upgrade. I don't know what the problem is, but that's certainly not it.
I've never had any issues like this using the CD's or DVD that I received from Corel and I've had most versions from 8 - X5.
It would be helpful to include error messages or something. Your issue can't be 'exactly' the same as the previous poster since he was trying to install a fresh copy on a new PC and you are having trouble on an 'existing pc'.
It looks like the previous poster was trying to use the installer from a trial-version. Probably he downloaded his full-version installer from Corel, which solved his problem.

Well, Simon was posting just as I was.. not sure how the trial version solved the issue, but there it is. I'm surprised it's even available as a trial now, since it's 2 versions old.
Hi Simon,
Thanks for posting on this. I know it has been a while since you discussed this but I just tried to follow the link you provided and Corel is trying to get me to buy X5. I had to reformat my hardrive and I dont have a physical disk. Do you know where I can download a full version of X3?
Thanks,
Zach
