Anyone know how to maintain an objects position when exporting as a PNG? The objects ends up being centered on the page after exporting but I need it to maintain its original postion.
Hello jcivy: This may help draw a box and put the picture or what ever in it how you would like it, take the colors out of the box and group the items and export.
Good Luck., George
Thanks for the reply George. But, that doesn't seem to work either. Any other ideas?
Thanks, Chris

A png file (or any other bitmap file, for that matter) doesn't really have a concept of page position. It is just a bitmap.
If you export from CorelDraw, and do not choose selected objects, you will export all the objects in the page, but the page background is not considered to be an object so far as exporting to bitmaps is concerned. Consequently if your objects do not extend to the edge of page size, you will get a bitmap that is smaller than your page.
If you want the page background exported along with your objects, you will need to do layout > page setup > add page frame (or something similar, I don't have X3 to check). This will create an object which you can assign a fill or outline if you wish, or can give it no file or no outline -- it will still do its job.
Then, when you export, the page frame will be included in the export, which will have the effect of preserving the position of the objects within the page.
The Screen Shot below is what I'm Talking about. It doesn't show the box but the two squares are mounted at the bottom right cormer, that's why they are off center. I have back saved the below drawing to X3 from X7 for you to play with.

I actually don't want the page background exported with the object. What I am trying to do is to maintain the object position in relation to the page. The page background was just there to allow the object position to stay intact. Any ideas on how to maintain the position without the background?
Thank you!
