How to open a Corel file without Corel?

I am sure there is a basic answer to this!  I have a hard drive with hundreds of Corel VII, VIII, IX, & X files that my grandfather left me when he passed away last April.  I don't have the software and have not been able to find a way to open them.  I want to see them & I'd love to save them as TIFFs.  Any ideas please?

Thank you!

  • Copy the files to a portable USB drive and take them to a local print shop. Ask around to find someone who accepts CDR files and have them convert the files to PDF format. Once they're converted...you can save them using any application you have that accepts PDF into other formats...like TIFF.
