How to open a Corel file without Corel?

I am sure there is a basic answer to this!  I have a hard drive with hundreds of Corel VII, VIII, IX, & X files that my grandfather left me when he passed away last April.  I don't have the software and have not been able to find a way to open them.  I want to see them & I'd love to save them as TIFFs.  Any ideas please?

Thank you!

  • You don't say whether the files are really CorelDRAW, PhotoPaint,
Painter, or Paint Shop Pro files.
If you can do it all in a couple weeks time, you can download the trial
version of the particular program and use it. YOu do need to know which
program you're really dealing with, though. Who knows, you may even get
    hooked on the software. Wink
