Need Help - I get "error 1606"

Dear All,

 I have purchased Coreldraw X3 and am running Windows XP. When trying to install it, I get the following error

 Error 1606. Could not access network location c:

Can anyone help me to resolve this issue.

    this is a MSI WindowsInstaller issue, it has its internal registry database with all the packages (applications and their components) installed tracking an original path of installation.
     
    Sometimes if you install an application there could be existing components that need be reconfigured, so MSI is sliently tries to do it, failing if an original package could not be found - e.g. if it was installed from temporary folder and automatically deleted later
     
    Anyway since it may be or not related to the CorelDRAW suite installation package the only way (IMHO) to find the culprit is to look at the MSI logs, they should be the newest files in your %TEMP% folder (Start->Run, type %temp%, Enter) as far as I remember - something like msi####.log (with some stuff for #). Zip them and upload to a free web storage, send the link here
