I was trying import some return address labels from word to corel which did not work. So I looked it up in my Corel Draw books and the books taked about filters but give me no idea on where to find filters to import word to draw. I google it and can’t find anything. Any ideas where I can find such a filter?
Thanks
Kimberly
Thank you, I printed out your posting and am going to go into my corel setting and look at all this before posting any more. I never thought about check out the filter setting, I know I had to change those before because I have a student version my son picked up at college a few years back which was cheaper at the college store. The features are here however need turned on many times.
Thanks again
Val P. said:1. Tools/Options - scroll all the way to the bottom of the left hand column and expand Global by clicking on the (+) sign. Click Filters. Now on the far right column, scroll down probably to near the bottom of the list of active filters. That's where you'll find the text filters. If your version of Word isn't listed, expand the Text category from the remaining list and choose it from there. There should be three DOC filters listed in one category or the other or both if they've been installed. If they're not in the list of active filters, but are in the available file types, select them from the left, then click the Add button. You'll need to do it one at a time.
Hello again,
I did this as you directed and found in active filter Doc Word 97/2000/2002 but I still could not the word file to input or open in corel draw 12.
So I looked under filter + at associated and found a list of filters but the only one check is CDR. Should the Word doc 97/2002/2002 be checked? or any of the other filters if I want them to work.
I am going to check it and do a test run but figure I post also to see if I could get some input.
Thank youKimberly
