CorelDraw Crashing With Image Use

Hi! I just got this version of CorelDraw12 to use at home with school, its circa 2003, and I don't know if it is a compatibility issue or not, but whenever I import or paste any images be they .png .jpeg .bmp or otherwise, CorelDraw12 immediately crashes.

Couldn't find any help online or in forums, any help would be appreciated! :)

Actually, with a little digging I've also determined it also crashes when opening the object manager.

can you attach the file or upload to a free storage servcie, such as wetransfer.com?
For old files, there're common issues relative with too much text&graphics styles, too much color styles and/or too much sved views.

There is no file currently. Essentially, I tried copy and pasting from the clipboard, but it crashes each time. If I save a file and try to open it, it also crashes.
