I had to do a reload on my computer and I used to have the mouse wheel zoom, I loved it! Now that I have re-installed CD 11 it doesn't seem that I can find out how to do that. Maybe it was a patch, years ago?!!! Can anyone give me an idea of how to get that back? I would be so grateful.
Options > Workspace > Display > Mouse Wheel (Default action for mouse wheel)
See Attached:
An alternative can be found in the Wiki: Using the Mouse Wheel not only to Zoom but to Scroll
Cheers!Adrian Juman
Adrian: Your screen capture is from X4 and not Version 11. Sorry, but the Default action for the mouse wheel (between Zoom and Scroll) was introduced in X4.
But, I can not recall how this was accomplished in Ver 11. (It has been awhile since I visited Ver 11 DRAW....)

Yes Hugh.
The Capture is from X4. I should have stated that.
I thought that the option was available in earlier versions. I know for sure version 13 and maybe version 12.
Is there any one here who can clarify if the option is available in Version 11?
Was F8 available in version 11?
Maybe a workspace issue?
Tiporari, you can try holding F8 while Draw starts.
F8 works in Version 11.
I fired up Ver 11, this morning, and checked around for the scroll wheel to scroll rather than zoom, there is no readily available setting, that I could find.
If memory serves, I believe that the scroll wheel option of scrolling (in Ver 11) was either an registry entry or it was via a macro that changed the way the mouse worked.
I want it to zoom but that doesn't seem to be an option in 11. I tried holding F8 and no go. I think maybe it was a macro or patch of some sort but I haven't been able to find anything. I also don't have any service packs installed. Does anybody know, should I install this....http://www.softwarepatch.com/graphics/coreldraw11sp2.html ??? And do you think that might help? Or hurt?
Do you have a Logitech mouse? Or some other mouse, that came with a driver and you installed that driver?
If so, uninstall the driver(s) and use the standard Microsoft Windows drivers for the mouse.
Thank you that did it, I feel sort of dumb as that was too easy!! Thanks so much....another dumb question, how do I mark this as answered??
