I'm running on a fairly new Dell Studio laptop computer with Windows 7 Pro as the OS.
The font was installed using the normal install font directions.
As stated above the font works fine in Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft Word.
It shows as installed in Corel Draw font menu but will not print when trying to type, the curser just blinks.
I know a number of other people have had this same problem, I hope by now there is an answer.
I also have 2 desktop computers running Windows XP Pro OS where the font works perfectly in all programs.
Hope there is an answer to this problem.
Thank you
When you say "custom font", what do you mean?
And what format is the font? Type 1? ttf? something else?
It's a font I had made specially for my business by an experianced fontographer.
The font comes in two different versions True Type and Open Type.
Corel Draw 11 does not work with either.
Yes I installed the font in Windows 7 and then moved it to the BitStream Navigator and then to the Corel Draw 11 program.
No I did not enable compatibility to run Corel 11, I didn't think it was needed at that time.
Yes all the other fonts that I use work perfectly, there may be some that I don;t use that are not compatible also, I won't know till I try to use them.

Try running DRAW 11 in WinXP compatibility mode and see if that makes any difference. Else, the font from your fontographer may need a little touching up to be 100% compatible with Corel Graphics Suite 11 and Win 7 combo. (I sort of doubt that last statement, myself. Your problem may be more of getting Ver 11 DRAW & PP to run at its full capacity under Win 7.)
FWIW, I use Corel Graphics Suite, Ver 11 (and others), running under WinXP SP3, which itself runs in a Virtual Machine, running under my Win 7. This way, I know everything is compatible, especially since all versions of the CGS prior to X5, are not qualified to run under Windows 7. X4 works well in Win 7, but it is qualified to run under Vista and earlier version(s) of Windows.
