I have CorelDraw 11 and make 3 Squares right next to one another. Then I color the middel one Yellow and the 2 end ones Brown. Then I Group all three of them.
Then I take all 3 Squares that I just Grouped and select it and go to my Extrude Tool Box.
And yes I can make it 3D and it works and the 3 Colors Extrude as well it all works.
Now say I start this whol thing again but now I make my 2 end Squares Bigger then the Middel one. Then I Group them and Extrude them it still works but the Yellow one is see through from above.
But like I say if I keep all 3 Squares the same size they all stay a Solid Color when I Extrude them.
Why I just wanted to know?
I do not have V11 installed to test it. And I do not remember about this issue existing in V11. I tested it in X6 and X7 and it works without any issues and as expected.
May be this is a silly question. Did you drag over with transparency tool instead of extrude tool by error ?
No I did not use the Transperancey Tool just go to Effects then Extrude.
Hello biferi:You can Brake the object apart, then ungroup the squares and color as you want, then regroup. Extrude is the weakest part of CorelDRAW even in X7 for someone making signs to cut on a vinyl cutter. When you have things broke apart as above, click on the extruded part and give it a oulline color that you can see over the extrude. ( You may want to try and weld it to get rid of the inside lines, If you do look for pieces of lines still inside that you may want to delete.)

I should have told you if I take on Square and Extrude it it works and there is no see through it is all a solid color.
If I have 2 Square next to one another and group them and Extrude them it will make on of the Square see through. I do not know why???
