I was getting help for this but I can not find my other thread.
I am in Coreldraw 11 and make a shape and colo it BLUE.
Then take my Interactive Transparnt Tool and set it to 50% and the Dropdown list I set to Leanere.
And the BLUE is see through but it changes the color.
How do I keep it BLUE but just get the see through afect?
I suppose you could fake it, to achieve your desired effect.
The right circle actually is not transparent and the letters are on top. See the attached CDR.
To expand on Jack's idea -- if you make a colour partly transparent, then in addition to seeing your other object behind it you will also see some of your document background colour behind it. If the background is white, then your blue will become paler. If the background is black, the blue will become darker.
