how to cut unclosed paths

first excuse me for poor english!

i use coreldraw x4 and when i want to cut any unclosed path with cutter plotter,i guess corel automatically close curves and it causes cut unwanted line over sticker!

if i want to cut an arc or any unclosed path,what shall i do?

What file format do you use for sending the file to the plotter?

I don't think this should affect cutting, but might be worth checking: Tools > options > workspace > toolbox > pick tool and turn off "treat all objects as filled".

thanks,
i use CDR format to save my documents! when i open file in corel,print (ctrl+p) that directly and send to cut,
is it (format) important?
i see print preview and i cant see any additional lines,everything is true,
i hear objects cut in close curve format! is that true?
therefore can i cut an arc? without change automatically to Semicircular?

Hello mad_aft; Format depends on the program used to cut with. If your program is being cut with lines running thru the graphics try taking the color out and just send the outline. That is a problem that some programs had years ago.

thanks.

i figure out when the blade move to change position to start a new cut,because of low distance between blade and sticker,scratch that.
the blade was too close,i pull that a little up and cut with less pressure...
my problem solved!
