I often get the following error message as I'm working in Corel Draw 10:
The instruction at "0x10a82bec" referenced memory at "0x00000070". The memory could not be "read".
This happens without warning and the only option I have is to terminate the program. Sometimes an auto back up is generated but most of the time I simply loose the unsaved data. Can anyone guide me to a solution? Thank you.
I'm running on Windows XP Home, if that matters.
All the Service Packs in Windows and CD10 installed?
(except SP3 in XP - only go as far as SP2 for now anyway)
And clean out the C:\Windows\Temp directory of stuff you don't need... copy them all to a separate temporary directory for awhile if you think there's stuff in there you might need.
the 'dd'
All the service packs are installed, including SP3.5, which I installed last night. I've cleaned out the Temp directory too. Is that the problem? Thanks.
You should do a memory check just to rule out hardware issues.

If you get an error don't panic, take out all memory modules and clean the contact by rubbing them with a pencil rubber, then carefully brush off any rubber. Insert and retest.
There have been a lot of fixes in Draw since version 10. Maybe time to update.
Thanks. I'll run the memory test and see how it goes. And I agree about updating Corel - just don't want to keep loosing my work in the meantime.
