I have for some years used Corel Draw Essential version 9 running in Win XP. Now when trying to install in Windows 7 installation fails. It says "You do not have administrator priviligies on this machine. Set up cannot continue".
I have not found a solution and wonder what minimum version of corel I need to run under win 7. I am happy with the features in corel Draw 9. I do not want to spend a lot of money. It is a must to be able to go on edit my old drawings from v 9 in the new version. Does anyone have a suggestion which version I should get to be able to go on creating new and maintaining old drawings in Win7?
Have you tried downloading the file to your hard drive, then "Right Click>Run as Administrator"?
Yes. Same result.

If you have enough disk space, then download VirtualBox (free) and install that on your Win 7, then in virtual Box, install your older WinXP. Then in that you can install your DRAW Essential....
