Hello petercoleuk; You are talking a program that was probably made to run in Windows 3, Don't ya think it's time to update it? The mouse Wheel is a Windows thing.........

To get version 7 to work at all with recent versions of windows, you will need to be working in a compatibility mode -- sometimes, you need to set this yourself, sometimes windows will figure it out but you can over-ride it.

You can check the compatibility settings if you right click on the coreldrw.exe file and go to properties > compatibility. Version 7 was designed to be compatible with windows 95, and NT 4 so those are probably the most likely settings to work. But compatibility should be considered as an attempt, not a guarantee.

Better still, if you have a spare copy of windows 95 or NT 4, you could try running it in virtualbox or equivalent.

For the mouse, you should try using it with the standard windows mouse driver and again with the mouse manufacturer's driver.
