I am very new to coreldraw and finally got everything set up. My question is I am trying to do one simple thing.......create a word (a team name) so I can send to the cutter and cut on vinyl. I am looking for the very basics so any help would be greatly appreciated.
We may need a little more information in order to guiide you. What type of systems are you using -- Cutter, CorelDRAW Version, etc. . . ?

Also what cut software do you have. Coreldraw is only for the illustration part of the job.

The cutter is a basic ioline and I am using coreldraw X5. I can create a word and export using the plotter file then import it to the cutter but when it cuts it is so tiny.
The cutter is an ioline 101 from stahls so I am using the software that came with it. I purchased coreldraw x5. exorting and importing is not the problem it is the design. I just want to be able to do the very basics.
Hello KBLAYLOCK; You are not answering the questions above. What is the name and ver. of the cutting software, and what format are you exporting to it? In the meantime try making the text the size you want in Coreldraw convert it to curves, take all the colors out ( just send a outline ) of the text, and more than likely you will want a "ai" or "eps" format.
