Hi... I'm relatively new to Corel X6 and am wondering how others here that use Corel for 'laser engraving' have learned how to use it. I'm looking for detailed tutorials that are step-by-step. I've googled and found a few that way... just wondering how others have accomplished their proficiency.
Comments / suggestions / links appreciated... Many thanks!!
BTW: I have a Universal VLS 6.60
are you new to corel in general? or just x6?
I run a xenetech 13x25 and there doesnt seem to be much of a difference when running x6 vs earlier versions, I have to routinely flip between x3 and x6 and dont have any issues. I will say that the centerline trace feature in x6 has saved my rear end quite a few times when it comes to creating rhinestone trasnfers! :)
Ah... I should have been more specific. CorelDraw in general.... I've used 'PaintShop Pro' for years for web designing but not the CorelDraw and specifically not much experience with the 'vector' format.
I'm just hoping to locate some tutorials that other laser engravers have found helpful.
Appreciate your taking the time to respond!
great garment graphics has a series of corel draw basics going on right now, you may want to check that out. also you may want to look at imprintables wearhouse. steve does some great tutorials aimed at the garment industry as a whole and that may help you. the easiest thing to do is just dive in, and press buttons until you become familar with where they are, and then learn what they do, because sometimes you'll hear someone talking about a feature, and if you are familiar with where it is then it kind of triggers in your brain, OH THATS WHAT THATS FOR! lol
Thanks Georgia -- I'll check out your recommendations!
Appreciate your response.
