I need a few idea people.
I have a Roland GX-24 plotter ( purchased in 2006 new)
And I use corel draw x6 cutting with Cuts Studio.
Recently whatever I send to cuts studio with curved text .i:e o,g,d, s
is cutting jagged. I have tried more nodes and less nodes neither helps much.
Changed the blade. Head does not have any play in it.
And if I zoom in on the text in corel it is fine, but when I zoom in on it in cuts studio
The curves are jagged. And idea's what is causing this?
Hello Malferg; How are you sending the file you want to cut to the cutting software? ( what type of format.)
George
Hi George,
What ever format it is in Corel. I just convert to curves and then copy & paste to cuts studio.
I have no idea how to find out what format it is in (sorry)

I checked Roland's site, and it seems like CutStudio can import AI and EPS files. I suggest you try to Export in either of these formats from Draw, and then import into CutStudio. You may have to try different export options to get the best result.
Edit: It looks like there should be a plugin option for CorelDraw (and Illustrator), at least for earlier versions of Draw. Do you know anything about that?
Hi Ronny,
That is what I have on my corel x3 version (plugin that is) It has me totally stumped how it could work for years and all of
A sudden I get jagged curves. I have tried exporting in Ai file, but cut studio will not import it. I have now uninstalled both and
rebooted the computer and reinstalled corel but that did not fix the problem. Purchased a new cutting program hopefully
This will work.
Exporting in an eps format did not work either Ronny.
