I am new to CorelCAD on the 30 day trial and already panicking.... Help me please!
I have created a 2D end view of a flanged plate in CorelCAD with constraints related to thickness. I extruded the plate to its preferred length.
I see it is now a 3D solid.
I can save it as an STL file, so that all works.
I want to put holes in the plate at particular locations with dimensional constraints.
The holes go right through the plate.
The steps I took were to create a cylinder to subtract from the plate. i.e. draw a circle and extrude it.
However, I don't know how to put circle of the end of the cylinder on the face of the plate to extrude through the plate.
I keep seeing the cylinder in some other place when I change the elevation view in the 2D Default.
Thus, when I do the subtraction of the cylinder from the plate , I don't get a hole!!! [:@]
Can you please tell me where I am stuffing up?
I cannot see how to upload the .dwg file with this post sorry. Give me a hint....pls.Cannot make a hole in a solid
