Layer.CreateArtisticText method

Creates artistic text on a layer

Syntax:

Function CreateArtisticText(ByVal Left As Double, ByVal Bottom As Double, ByVal Text As String, Optional ByVal LanguageID As cdrTextLanguage = cdrLanguageNone, Optional ByVal CharSet As cdrTextCharSet = cdrCharSetMixed, Optional ByVal Font As String, Optional ByVal Size As Single = 0, Optional ByVal Bold As cdrTriState = cdrUndefined, Optional ByVal Italic As cdrTriState = cdrUndefined, Optional ByVal Underline As cdrFontLine = cdrMixedFontLine, Optional ByVal Alignment As cdrAlignment = cdrMixedAlignment) As Shape

Parameters:

Name	Type	Description
Left	Double	Specifies, in document units, the horizontal position of the artistic text
Bottom	Double	Specifies, in document units, the vertical position of the artistic text
Text	String	Specifies the content for the artistic text. The value of the Text parameter becomes the actual text created with the CreateArtisticText method.
LanguageID	cdrTextLanguage	Specifies the language.
CharSet	cdrTextCharSet	{cdrCharSetMixed\|Specifies the character set.
Font	String	Specifies the font.
Size	Single	Specifies the font size.
Bold	cdrTriState	Specifies whether to apply boldface.
Italic	cdrTriState	Specifies whether to apply italics.
Underline	cdrFontLine	Specifies an underline to apply.
Alignment	cdrAlignment	Specifies the alignment.

Remarks:

The CreateArtisticText method creates an artistic text object at a specified location on a layer. You can specify various properties for the object.

Examples:

The following VBA example adds the word page: and the page number to the lower-left corner of the active layer of each page.
