To be clear, are you asking if there is some way to get the UI to not display the number of the page on the tab for that page?

I can easily imagine someone wanting to see both of those pieces of information - page number and page name - on the page tab.
I can also imagine it being something where the developers wouldn't take the trouble to make the display of those user-selectable. If they wanted to take the time to do that, then I could recommend some other things in CorelDRAW that could use their attention!

To me, it's a bit weird that page.name returns "Page [page number]" if the user hasn't explicitly created a name for a page.
