too many steps to do this. Can it be done with a macro?
I'd really be interested to know this as well. I was working on a idea where a macro would automatically add a space after 1/2, then delete the space to trigger the text replace setting in options. The final result would be ½. Essentially automating the manual space addition and deleting. There must be a cleaner way to do this.
use internal QuickCorrect to autoreplace 1/4 to ¼
And how does one Add an entry?. i.e. how do you type the "replace" in the smaller numbers? And wouldn't you have to type a whole string of characters...1/32, 1/16, 1/8, 1/4, 7/8 ............
So even trying to change by using the method I first posted isn't going to work for all fractions. Only 1/2, 1/4 and 3/4. wth
This also depends on the character set if it includes the fraction symbols and whatnot.
