Yet another feature Adobe has that drives em nuts in Corel

I once had a macro for this but since upgrading haven't had much luck with it. It is said that in illustrator if you have a shape and assign a stroke to it then you want a "cut line" on the outer edge of that stroke it's 1 click operation.

In corel I try not to use an outline but rather an contour but...let's say you wave text that doesn't offer a bold version a quick way to thicken it is to add an outline.NOw if you need to cut that outline you have to convert it curves which now creates two lines an inner & an outer. Yes it can be done but not easy. 

My macro would convert the outline, break it apart, deselect the outer one, and use the inside to trim the actual text then delete the inside bit. yada yada
