Tell me that VBA is still a thing for CorelDraw 19?
Mine shows Visual Studio, Basics and Java. Hers just shows Visual Studio and Java... :(
Help please before I panic!!
Yes, VBA should be available in CorelDRAW 2019.
If your coworker's system is not showing Visual Basic for Applications in the Scripts docker (Macro Manager), then you might try a "repair" of CorelDRAW. If that doesn't work, then I would try uninstalling / reinstalling CorelDRAW (making sure that VBA support is checked in the options when installing).
That's exactly what happened. We had to completely uninstall and reinstall because it wasn't showing in the docker or under script. This nearly gave me a heart attack. It has taken me years to learn the bit of VBA I know and I've relied heavily on them to automate some processes. *sighs* I wish there were comprehensive starts ups for visual studios / coreldraw videos to get people started if they needed to switch. Like all the vba questions asked in last few months or so compiled into video tutorials would be a good place to start. This would help people learn and transition utilizing real questions in this forum and turning them into training videos. I'd like a good one utilizing my naming my document question. :|
I have practically begged them to create something like a "Macros for Users" subforum here on the Community site. I have asked, politely, more than once - the first time was more than two years ago.
I started a blog. For users trying to learn how to use a .GMS file for the first time, I have this: #1: Getting started with using VBA macros (What do you do with a .GMS file?).
I have other posts in the blog where I share some macros and discuss some aspects of workspace customization.
