Looked high low cannot seem to find anything. Want to use a .fil file to apply vector pattern transparency from a macro. Cannot seem to find any info on how or if this can be done. Any ideas?
TIA
Tom
Solved it never mind.
If so, it should be nice to share the solution you found...
I just saved patterns I made the .fill files with as Corel files and used the Corel files as the vector pattern transparency files. Not fun converting all those patterns back to Corel files, but it worked.Sub MacroTransparency() Dim OrigSelection As ShapeRange Set OrigSelection = ActiveSelectionRange Dim fileLocation As String fileLocation = "D:\Desktop\Effects\Corel Files\indentedlines.cdr" With ActiveSelection.Transparency With .ApplyPatternTransparency(1, fileLocation, 0, 100, 0, False)' .MirrorFillX = True' .MirrorFillY = True' .TileOffsetType = 0' .TileOffset = 0' .RotationAngle = -32.847393' .SkewAngle = 2.786891' .TileWidth = 0.819976' .TileHeight = 1.23726' .OriginX = 0.088504' .OriginY = 0.03135 End With .AppliedTo = 2 .MergeMode = 0 End WithEnd Sub
Thank you for sharing that.
To get a .CDR file from a vector pattern fill, are you just extracting the .CMX file that is stored in the .fil file?
I just saved the patterns I made the .fill files with as save selected only .CDR files.
