Today i cannot find my tool on the docker menu. This tell me also some clients. But it was never a problem until now on my computer.Maybe i need to edit some corel setting file?
Is the same Corel version the code has been designed for?
Did you installed other custom dockers in the mean time?
Yes it is the same Version. I try also released and debug variant. No i don't installed any docker. I need to start corel with F8 yesterday because it crashed everytime when i try to create a new page.Since i start it with F8 i cannot see my docker. This is only on Version 2021 a problem on my computer. But on other customers it is also a problem with other corel versions. When i export the Settings (Dockers) from a working corel, and import it to a not working corel. i can bring it to work.
Holding F8 means Resetting Application Defaults. If I remember well you have been asked to confirm the overwrite the existing workspace with the factory default...
When Corel starts and stops a session it reads/writes information regarding your configuration in some files (usually xml) and in Registry. Even if it is not a normal behavior, resetting defaults skipped somehow the information related to the docker. Maybe the problem which makes Corel needing the F8 'procedure' has been found by the application like being connected to the docker in discussion and somehow skipped writing the necessary information able to launch it. It is only a supposition, of course.
I would suggest you to remove the docker folder from 'Addons', start Corel and then put it back and see what's happening when restart...
-> I have also tried, without successI have also tried to rename to complete project and compile it with the new name. Without success.
I found out something:Now I have restored an old version from my git repository. Then it works again. With the newer version I have a licensing tool from Soraco QLM in it. Can it be that Corel or Windows has problem with it when my Docker wants to do the activation of the license in the background?
Note: If I then start the Docker with the QLM. (Latest version) everything works again. It seems that Corel or Windows now sees this Docker as trustyworthy.
