Hello CorelDRAW community!

Earlier today, Corel announced the acquisition of Gravit Designer, a leader in the web-based graphics design space. Over the last few years, the team at Gravit has developed a fantastic HTML5-based vector graphics engine and application, and everyone at Corel is thrilled to count them part of our product portfolio.

Gravit Designer delivers a full multi-page CMYK & RGB graphics engine in any modern Web browser –Chrome across platforms (including Chromebooks), Safari on macOS, and more. Gravit Designer is also available as a desktop app with the capability of running off-line (you’ll find it on the Gravit site, Microsoft Store for Windows 10 & Apple AppStore for macOS).

Gravit Designer’s ability to create vector illustrations from any connected device is highly complementary to the full graphics power you get in CorelDRAW Graphics Suite. We plan to drive their future roadmaps in parallel and see exciting opportunities to leverage Gravit and CorelDRAW technologies to the benefit of both products. Gravit doesn’t replace the professional power you need from CorelDRAW, but it will play an exciting role in the future evolution of our graphics software line up.

I invite you to give Gravit Designer a try at www.gravit.io and would also like to send a big welcome to our Gravit users.

Happy CorelDRAWing!
