We've recently been made aware of a problem that would prevent CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X6 (the original version) users from upgrading to X6.1 (the first update / service pack). The root cause for this issue has been identified and we will be fixing the problem with an upcoming update on our servers scheduled for June 11th, 2015.  In the meantime, if you need to update X6 to X6.1, please contact our technical support team who can help with a workaround solution.

  • The issue should not be fixed. In the very rare case you get a message indicating that there is a problem with your account when you sign in to apply the update1 patch, just close that dialogue and you should be good to go.

  • I've checked with the team, and they have experienced some problems pushing the fix to production. I've been told it should go live sometime Monday June 15. I will try to post an update as soon I as get confirmation the fix is live and working properly.

  • It is now June 12th and this is still not working.   I have a new PC as current workstation too old and sloo..ooww.. but when I tried to reinstall on the new PC I get the "you need to have a premium membership - purchase or log in here..." message - I already have a premium membership but can't see where to log in.

And strangely, I called Corel UK twice this morning and all I got was an answer service stating they were open 9am - 6pm European time.. it was about lunchtime here (UK) so you should have been open surely??
